Some things just work together every time you try to shoot. In this case we have the bekehlicious lens my brother owns and my mum's Rhododendrons.
Of course there need to be a nice sunny day and some good background too to catch the bokeh and make things even easier.
The orange one is Azalea. It belong to Rhododendron family.... or is it the other way round: Rhododendrons belong to large Azalea family. Those two always confuse me. We have both in a garden and I do see differences especially in the leaves. But I just cannot memorize how they are categorized.
The purple one is one of few Rhododendron types that grow in the garden, but this one was the best shape at that time. They all grow slightly shaded by big trees on both sides. The light that shines though the leaves and little branches produces the bokeh bubbles that I like so much.
Just perfect :)
