Hive is going nuts ! LFG .
This shot is of first light hitting the cliffs at Glen Helen Gorge on the Finke River. It is surprisingly chilly out there in the mornings before the sun has risen. Thought to be perhaps the oldest identifiable river still seasonally flowing in the world it predates the mountains around it which formed in an uplift 300-400 million years ago. The gorge is located in the West MacDonnell National Park or Tjoritja in the Northern Territory of Australia.
