Things I sold at a community market!
Hello Friends,
I hope your Monday is off to a great start.
This weekend, I tried a new thing, I rented a stand in a community market here in Vietnam and sold some things.
For me, I love going to community markets! It's a great way to support local businesses and get some amazing deals on things that I need. I always start by walking around and seeing what catches my eye. Then I head over to the food vendors to see what's for lunch. After that, I start haggling with the vendors for the best prices. It's all part of the fun!
So, this time I wanted to get more emerged in the experience.
I phoneyed up 250k VND for the table fee, sourced some green products from the hill tribes around Vietnam, and then went to town.
Here are a few photos of the goods I offered for sale. So as they say, "Welcome my shop!"
This was the most popular item of the day, organic bug spray for your room.
The sponges also were good, They are ECO sponges, so made with coconut husk bits, and will bio degrade. WooT!
I love the beads, and have a set I wear every day.
Natural agarwood from the Central Highlands forest. Agarwood blood rosary beads are a special type of beads that are made from the blood of the agarwood tree. These beads are said to have special powers and are used by many people in Asia for religious and spiritual purposes.
Coconut husks as well for eating bowls.
More colors of beads.
While I love these, I only sold 2. :/ Perhaps it was not what the market wanted?
I did sell some of these sets as well, and I may buy some for my own use too.. hahahah
These are hand made bags from the Humung People. Hemp and natural fibers were uses. I think they are dope AF!
Community markets are definitely a lot of fun. They're a great way to support local businesses and vendors, and they usually have a really great atmosphere. If you're looking for a fun activity to do on the weekend, definitely check out your local community market, or, better yet, go get a stall and try to sell something. Lol
- What item did you like best?
Cheers and see you soon.
