I have been perusing a book from our public library the past week regarding art styles from the 1920's. I have been enamored with the section regarding Bauhaus...I want to say I was into the style years ago through my obsession with Dada and Max Ernst. Regardless, I've been wanting to explore the styles from that time period more in respect to artwork.
I tried to capture a bit of the Bauhaus style with the steel tubes above. I was trying to contrast the texture and dullness of the metal against the filthy concrete floor. I'm not sure it worked 100% as I wanted, but I gave it a go anyway.

One of my goals this year is to experiment with styles from the 1920's; we'll see where it goes!
