I got out again with and the cameras yesterday evening. After a little 4x4 drive and a little hike, we made it to Long Lake, California. The lake is about an hour drive from my house, at a much higher elevation.
The sunset was an incredible one! And I had not been to this location in a very long time so I was really enjoying exploring an area that felt new to me. Devil's Peak (on the left) makes for an awesome subject matter, I'm sure I'll be back for more photos soon...
Shot on a Canon 5DS R and a 24-35mm lens, with the lens set at . This is a stitched panorama, 21 vertical photos were stitched together in Photoshop. The final resolution is 34,492x7843 pixels. ISO 50, f/20 , and a 4 second exposure for each image. A graduated neutral density filter was used on the front of the lens in order to darken the sky a bit and balance the foreground exposure with the sky exposure.
Thank you for looking and I hope you are all having a great weekend!
