We had quite the snow storm in the Tahoe area on Sunday/Monday. It's the biggest October storm that I remember in the 20 years that I've lived in the area. My driveway's snow berm was huge yesterday. After a couple hours of clearing heavy wet snow, I was exhausted and did not go out shooting. But today, I had a moment before running errands so I stopped by nearby Donner Lake. The fall colors are still looking great in some areas, I was very happy with this snowy autumn shot!
Shot with a Canon 5DS R and a 24-105mm lens. ISO 200, f/16, and 1/250 of a second exposure. Handheld with no filters on the lens.
Thank you for looking and I hope you are having a photogenic day as well!
