This old graffitied car in Cancun Mexico, was a fun discovery:
I was just browsing some of my old travel snapshots and remembered this gem from January of 2023.
This car was sitting beside a multi-million dollar gated home in the back alley behind the mansion's rear gate. I saw it while walking from a nearby bodega (convenience store) back to my hotel next door to the mansion.
I asked the hotel staff about it and they told me it's been there at least ten years, and was a local landmark. Sometimes the owner has spray painted it over the years to keep it updated.
It surely belongs to the mansion owner or they would long ago have had it removed as junk. Overall, I thought it was hilarious, given the upscale neighborhood, albeit the entire mansion section surrounded by a more industrial area not far from the Cancun International Airport.
The writing on the car is Spanish "No Me Robar" which basically means "Don't Steal Me".
I thought it was fun and wanted to share it with folks, just because it's something different than the typical landscape shot.
Taken on Sony ZV-E10 with the kit lens, in afternoon daylight, on the fly street-photography, snapshot style.
Hope you like it and find the scene as amusing as I did when I stumbled upon it in that back alley.
Thanks for looking,
