Dramatic skies

Another post back on the Harbor Walk here in New Bedford, a place i often visit for my morning walks, I try to get to other spots a couple of times a week at least, but this spot is great when I have bene a bit slack with getting my steps in for a couple of days and thing the weather is such that the sunrise may not be that much and to instead focus on getting my steps in.
of course with Mother nature one can never be sure and when the light came out a bit I noticed some nice dramatic clouds and got a few shots which I will share in this post

On this particular morning the sunrise was barely visible at all, so I was focusing on my walking, but then a while after sunrise the sun started peaking out through the clouds which had a cool dramatic feel. I think this first shot does it best justice

This was earlier that morning, where the sun was rising there was many clouds and no sign of it at all ( thats off to the right in this shot) but for a very brief minute some colors popped up in this direction, these colors literally only last for perhaps at max 3 minutes

It was almost funny to see at this stage, these subtle colors in this direction and where the sun was rising it was kind of dark and moody ( off to the right again in this shot

And then the sun broke out through the clouds, this shot is about the same time as the first two shots

So a morning i thought I would not take many shots I got enough for this post, and also got in a good amount of steps so was a great start to the day
