Today is the 20th day of April 2021
What i learnt from today's Mass Indoctrination on Loving others.
Love means
an intense feeling of deep affection to show mercy towards something or someone.
Being merciful is one of the important doctrines of Christ.
Matthew 5:7
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
So if you want to obtain mercy, be merciful.
We should forgive others of their offenses, if we want ours to be forgiven.
Matthew 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
We should not file charges against others in the church of God. This is not allowed.
1 Corinthians 6:4-6
If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
To be able to handle this, we need to dwell in love. If we love others, we would easily forgive.
We should approach the church for counsel and resolution instead of filing charges against our brethren.
1 Corinthians 1:10 tells us to dwell in unity in the church of God.
We should be joined together in the same mind, without division.
And above all we should love one another, not to do evil to our fellow men.
