I want to contribute to the Question of today"Why do good People Suffer while the wicked prosper?"
The Bible tells us the truth that we can see in reality.
Ecclesiastics 9:2
All things come alike to all there is one event to the righteous and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean and to the unclean to him that sacrificeth and to him that sacrificeth not: as on the good so is the sinner and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
That is a general truth in the Bible as observed by the Preacher.
John the Baptist died in the cruel hands of King Herod at a very young age.
It may seems to be injustice to John. But, God's Justice is not attained only in this life.
There is another life to come.
And that is after resurrection. All people will be resurrected.
John 5:28. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all shall hear his voice.
John 5:29. And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
There is a declaration of God in the Bible that
Evil people may Live
Evil people may Prosper
But it will not be long-lasting .
Job 20:4-5
What happens to those despised and those short Lived ?
Because of the cruelty of people.
Luke 6:20-23
The book of Luke made it clear in Luke 6:20 "Jesus looked at his disciples and said, "Happy are you poor; the Kingdom of God is yours!"
Luke 6:21"Happy are you who are hungry now; you will be filled! "Happy are you who weep now; you will laugh!"
Luke 6:22-23 "Happy are you when people hate you, reject you, insult you, and say that you are evil, all because of the Son of Man".Be glad when that happens and dance for joy, because a great reward is kept for you in heaven. For their ancestors did the very same things to the prophets.
Mathew 5:10-12 "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
