These are what I learnt from the Worship service by Bro Daniel.
Kindly watch the video below,
We know that we are dependent of God and we must live to fulfil God's purpose. Everyday of our lives, we must be able to do good with all our heart.
Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
God knows our heart we can't keep it hidden from him. Doing the good of God that he prepared, so that we should work on it is really beneficial.
Ephesians 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ.
There are two ways to end one's life eternally, either eternal damnation or eternal life. Your works here on earth will determine where you will end up.
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Doing good is an obligation and commandment of God and on the judgement day, it will be the basis of your judgement.
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
There is no just man, we human beings have shortcoming one way or the other. We have weaknesses. The eyes of the lord is upon the righteous, now the question is who is the Righteous?. The Righteous is the one who depart from evil and has a pure heart. If you want to be perfect and please God, do good wholeheartedly.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
You can challenge God with your perfect ways whenever you need God's help. Just like Hezekiah did when at the brink of death, he remind God of how he walk perfectly before Him.
2 Kings 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord , Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
2 Kings 20:2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord , saying,
2 Kings 20:3 I beseech thee, O Lord , remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
2 Kings 20:4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
2 Kings 20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord , the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord .
Bear each other's burdens, help one another. We should do good patiently. We are doing good for we to be saved and be justified before God.
Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life.
1 Peter 2:20 For what glory is it , if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it , ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
Titus 3:14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
