I want to contribute to the question that says Is Mary a descendant of David or Aaron? (Part 1 of 3)
How does the scripture support claim about blessed Mary's Davidic descend? How could she have descended from David's lineage and Judah's tribe when she is a cousin of Elizabeth who is one of the daughters of the levite Aaron?.
Is there any verse in the Bible that says the levite is a pure race just like the African race?
Who can tell if am from a pure African race except those that know the origin of Africa.
But there was an intermingling.
When you read the entire Bible, you will see that the descendants of Abraham had an intermingling between the race of the tribes of Israel.
One is considered a levite, if you are a son of the Aaron but on the woman side you are not sure.
There are instances where the daughter of the levite can marry from other tribes in the Bible.
From the question, it looks like an unbelieving person's question because I am a believer of God's words.
The book of Matthew was written with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 1:18-24 tells us the story of our Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh.
From the question, Elizabeth was one of the daughters of the levite Aaron, it doe's not mean because Mary is a cousin of Elizabeth. Mary is also a levite.
There are instances where you have cousins that are not from your tribe.
If you believe in the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ came from the tribe of Judah.
Hebrew 7:14
If it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
How can HE come from the tribe of Judah. Judah is one of the twelve sons of Jacob.
