Hello,
This is mine contribution to the question tagged "Was Jesus Christ crucified on a stake or on a cross? (Part 1 of 2)"
The word spile on the original Greek scriptures is stauros which means a stake.
There are verses of the Scriptures which says he was crucified on the Cross that does not contradict anything.
The word of God has nothing contradicting itself.
Proverbs 8:8
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them."
Proverbs 8:9
They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge."
We have an assurance from God himself. It's God's word there is no contradiction there.
They are plain.
They are simple truth.
They are understanding truth that God is trying to tell us.
We know that God has a mind and thought that is higher than everybody else. He may speak in parables, different languages and ways .
But there are all still plain, they are the truth God wants us to understand.
He will not hide it from us, if we God's children because there are many people that find the Bible as a book that is hard to understand.
What kind of people find it very hard to understand the Scriptures
Proverbs 1:23
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
The clue is to follow him.
When he said thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife.
Covet not thy neighbor's wife and you will understand his ways.
Thou shall not steal. You are stealing and reading the Bible how will you understand.
If you love someone, you tend to memorize the love letters coming from him.
The words in the Bible are love letters of God from heaven to the earth.
To those people who love him.
