Hello People of God,
I want to contribute to the question tagged "What is the Faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43? (part 7 of 7)"
There are those who have not listened who have no Faith but will be accepted as righteous on the day of Judgment because of the good works they have done.
Romans 2:13
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Romans 2:14
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves.
Romans 2:15
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Not the hearer of the law ,not those who have Faith because Faith cometh by hearing.
Romans 10:17.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
By these people have not heard the law.
Apostle Paul is talking about people who have no Faith, who have not heard the law.
The Gentiles have not the law because they have not heard them.
They don't know Jesus.
They died without hearing about Jesus even before the Bible was printed.
But if they do by nature things, good things contained in the law ,they are justified.
There is possibility of those that do not believe to be saved by doing good things contained in the law and they shall be justified.
Matthew 25:34
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Why
Matthew 25:35
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Verse 37;
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
This is because
▫️They have not seen the Lord Jesus Christ before
▫️They have no knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ
▫️They have not heard about the Lord Jesus Christ.
You are given the chance to do good works and you did not.
So refusing to do good works will disqualify you from inheriting the kingdom of God even if you are qualified.
