A christian should study the word of God everyday of their lives. We cannot completely understand the Word of God. Every time we go through the scriptures there's something new God is saying to us. That is the word of God for us. It is a mystery that can't be decoded over a number of times.
Study of God's Word is a continuous journey. One of the ways we know God and understand His ways is by going through His Word and we cannot know God enough. All the knowledge we can compile in our entire lives is nothing but a fraction.
There's always more to know. Seeking divine wisdom requires consistent study of the word of God. Just as learning doesn't end in the secular world so does learning does not end in the spiritual world. In all our gettings we shouldn't just seek to acquire early knowledge but also spiritual knowledge.
