Hello brethren, I will summarizing on what I learnt from the teachings of Brother Eli and Brother Daniel on our prayer meeting held on zoom.
Brother Eli talked about the last supper and how important it is to us as Christian's. He said that we should always keep to the last supper as it is very important to us. The last supper illustrates God's word and if we keep God's word, we are keeping it with our hearts and also wanting it in our every day lives.
When we participate in the last supper, we are dinning with the Lord, and we are also keeping the word and not being far from it as it says in the book of 2peter1:19 "we have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts."
Brother Eli and Daniel also talked about those people who are not participant of the last supper. He says, that they are like Judas because people with evil heart are not qualified for the last supper as we read from the book of Hebrew 10:2" for then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
When we celebrate the last supper, all sins are forgiven. And we also learnt about the body of Christ from the teachings of brother Daniel and Eli. There are two types of body which the Bible is talking about as there are terrestrial and heavenly bodies. Christ have both spiritual and heavenly body according to john 6:51 which says "I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
The last supper is Christ's body that came from heaven and was prepared by Christ himself as we see in the book of revelation 3:20"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
They went on to talk about how the last supper takes place inside our heart, because the spirit of Christ will enter it us and prepare it. As the last supper is the food which we share with the Lord. The table where we eat the last supper is the church and it is Christ serving the bread from heaven.
