PRAYER MEETING
Good day brethren, I will be summarizing on what I learnt from the teachings of Brother Daniel on our prayer meeting held on zoom.
I learnt about forgiveness, how we should forgive our neighbors and have good relationship with them. If you have the spirit of unforgiveness and would love to repent from it and turn to God, you will be saved. For it says in the Bible, that if my people can call unto the name of the Lord they will be saved. They will be saved from sin, saved from the spirit of unforgiveness and all manner of afflictions.
I also learnt about holiness and how we can be holy in the sight of God as the gospel contains God's word with which all men can be saved as we embrace God's words.
As we keep God's word, it brings forth holiness. We should always walk in the part of holiness and righteousness as the word of God which we abide by and also follow brings forth salvation to all men and by it we are saved.
Brother Daniel also talked about the spirit of arrogancy and how it affects us as Christian's. As Christian's and believers of God's word, we should not be arrogant before God for the Lord God wants all men to be saved.
The scripture describes arrogancy as a spirit which kills and destroys the life of a man. It can also hinder a man from entering the kingdom of God and also attaining God's blessings, and if a man should not boast he should be submissive to God
He also talked about self glorification, that no man should glorify himself before God for all the glory belongs to God almighty.
If you as a human glorify yourself before god, you Will not be saved because you are not acknowledging God as your creator and you are also not acknowledging the kingdom of God.
But if you acknowledge god as your Creator and you also acknowledge the kingdom of God as your Everlasting home, you will be saved.
The most high God wants all flesh to be saved. So therefore, no flesh should glory he's or herself before him. All flesh should stay humble in the sight of God as God wants to see us justified before him.
Brother Daniel still went on to talk about faith and belief and how it impacts us as Christian's. For there are those who belief in the world and took faith in the word in times of temptation, for they did not believe God with their hearts.
For the Bible makes us to understand that if you must keep the word and carry out the teachings of the world, you must dwell in faith.
There are people who died and they belong to the kingdom of God, because they believe and had Faith in the word of God.
Brother Daniel later went on to make a parable that those on the good grounds are the good and honest heart keeping God's word.
