We refer to peacemakers as those who support and bring peace to us instead of trouble. As good christians the bible has instructed us not to fight back but to maintain peace with one another. Jesus Christ told us peacemakers are called children of God, as children of God we must embrace peace. God is always happy when we choose peace over fight and we settle problems calmly.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are those who seek peace, bring harmony, and reflect God’s love through their actions” (Matthew 5:9).
The word of God also teaches us that peace begins from the heart. If we follow the will of God we will act peacefully towards other people in our environment. A peacemaker is someone who is always ready to forgive and make peace with people around him/her. They have a clear conscience.
