Majority thinks that after death, a person goes straight to heaven or hell. However, some teachings present a different explanation.According to the lesson, the Bible mentions more than one heaven. Even Christ spoke about multiple heavens. People believe that those who accepted Christ during their lifetime do not immediately enter heaven but wait in a place prepared for them. Unbelievers, however, are said to experience punishment right after death. The teaching also states that no human is currently in heaven except Jesus Christ and the thief who changed on the cross. Other believers are believed to be waiting for the day of judgment. On that day, they will be called forward and rewarded according to God’s verdict. This belief encourages believers to live a faithful and obedient life while still alive.
