Passing faith on to our children is crucial because faith begins from within. Biblically, our spirit makes the body come alive. Whatever happens in the physical is as a result of what happens in the spiritual. Teaching children about faith is similar to teaching them a practical ability. When wards develops in a surrounding of guardians who practice a skill, they learn naturally by observing and assisting.Faith acts in the same route. When wards watch their parents read Scripture, communicate with God, and live according to God’s Word, they learn without being pressured. Faith comes by hearing and studying the Bible. The same way fire needs to be empowered by woods, faith needs to be empowered by studying and abiding inorder to be alive. If we stop feeding our faith, it will weaken. Having to study the word of God together with our children helps strengthen their faith. This is how faith is naturally passed from one generation to the next.
