Lesson Gained from Brother Elis video.
Gen 2:16-17: And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die
Fate is the development of events outside a person's control, regarded as predetermined by a supernatural power based on the choices of the person.
From the scripture above , I understood that from the very beginning of creation, God placed the Fate of man in his hands by giving him the freedom to chooses in life.
From the scripture I noted they are two Fate given to man my God:
- Is to eat from every other tree and live
- To eat from the tree of knowledge and die.
So is Fate is the final outcome, it is now beckon on man to either choose to live by obeying God or choose death by disobeying God.
Our Fate in life is outside a mans control because the outcomes are already fixed but it is determined by the actions and choices we take in life. Example: The Fate of every killer has been determined by the law to be death, but it is the decision of any man to choose if he/she will be a killer or not. Remember you can't change the Fate stipulated by law but you can control your actions so that you won't be a victim of the Fate that has been set for every killer by the law.
Deu 30:15: See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
So therefore our Fate is not under Gods control rather it is determined by the choices and action we take in life.
