We as Christians need to shine our light to the world because that's what the Bible commend us to do. In fact the bible say we should let our light to shine so bright and men might glorified the work of our father in heaven. And we can shine our light to the world through the deeds and our behaviour. We should live a life worthy of emulation. In our good deeds, the question we should ask is God been Glorified in the work we do.
Rom.2.23 - You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
Rom.2.24 - As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."
We should not blaspheme the name of our God. People should see us and see Christ in us not the other way round. We should not boast of our works because it is only God that help us. We should be humble. We should not reject those who wouldn't obey, we should still love them irrespective of that. Let's take for example, if you know you will join a Church and you will not do good to your fellow men, then there is no need of you joining the church
1Cor.5.11 - But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. 1Cor.5.12 - What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
As you can see, the church is been commanded to remove those who will not obey God law. Those fornicators, adultery, drunkard and many more. They should not ne allow to live around us because they can cause trouble to other people. In fact tbose churches, we should afford them bwcasue they will not be good. We will not be able to shine our light to the world as God commanded. We should not join a Church that is speaking or doing evil.
Jesus taught us to still spread our light around to the world through our deeds
In. Titus.1.15 - To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
Titus.1.16 - They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
Somebody might be asking, why are we judging them? We are not judging them, we are just abstaining away from darkness because the word say ww should not have anything to do with darkness. The bible say what does darkness have in common with light. We should be careful of our association Remember that evil company corrupt good manners and so they can affect us also.
If those set of people are found in the church, it is advisable that they should be expelled from the church. We should love our fellow men irrespective of it just that we should not associate with them as it is dangerous to our life. That's what the Bible say. We should ne careful of evil doers and evil ministers
