One thing everyone on earth must face is death. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, young or old, good or bad death is something we all will experience. But the question is, why do people die?
The truth is that life is a journey, and death is not the end it’s the moment we return to the One who gave us life in the first place: God. He gave us time on earth, and when that time is over, He calls us back. That’s why no one should question God when someone dies He alone has the right to give and take life.
For those who serve and obey God, death is not something to fear. It is simply a step toward meeting our Creator. But after death, something important will happen judgment. According to Acts 17:31, God has set a day when He will judge the world through Jesus Christ.
Think about it: after all our actions on earth, wouldn’t it make sense that there is a reward or punishment for how we lived? The Bible makes this clear. In Ecclesiastes 8:8, it says that no one has power over the day of death it is a battle that no human can avoid or win.
So why do people die? We die because life on earth is temporary. We are only here for a while to live, to do good, and to prepare for the life after this one. Death reminds us to live well, love others, obey God, and stay ready.
When we live with the understanding that death leads us back to God, we will focus more on doing what is right. That way, when our time comes, we’ll be ready to face God’s judgment with peace in our hearts.
