Why do we feel God is far from us.
In christiandom, what separates God from man is sin. This separation is not because God has sent us away, but because we have sent ourselves away.
It is important to note that when we sin, we should not run away from from God. We should humble ourselves and run to him asking him for forgiveness.
When Christ came to die, it wasn't for the righteous but for the sinners.
That's one of the reason we should always run to him when we noticed any part of life that is contrary to his words.
When Adam sinned, he ran away from God, not because he was chased, not because God dislike him. But because he felt that was the right thing to do, he felt he can hid from God, and that ended him up, the way it he did.
I know sin is bad, but when we sinned let's return to God, crying the cry of mercy. For he is always ready to answer and forgive us.
If only we all have this mentality, "ohh I have disobeyed my father, let me go and plead. Rather than running away. Then the world will be a better place for us all.
God is never far from us, he is not human.
