It is not right for us to marry our close relatives especially parents, siblings, uncles and aunts. If we study from the old testament, during the times of Moses. God gave them the rule never to have sex with their close relatives because is considered as a sin in the side of God. These instructions were meant to protect family purity, respect, and healthy relationships among God’s people.
But in the days of creation when God created Adam and Eve, close relatives usually marry because they is limited number of humans on earth. Later, as humanity increased, God established stricter laws against these unions. Christians today are encouraged to honor God through marriages built on love, purity, wisdom, and respect for biblical teachings. One clear passage is found in Leviticus 18, where God warned against uncovering the nakedness of close relatives.
