Education doesn't make well educated people to have a spiritual understanding about the bible. The Bible teaches that wisdom about God comes through humility, faith, and a willingness to seek Him sincerely. Some people spend years studying worldly knowledge but give little attention to God’s word, so they remain spiritually uninformed.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).
Another reason is that some people depend too much on human reasoning and personal opinions instead of listening to God’s truth. Education can increase knowledge, but it can also lead to pride when a person believes they no longer need God’s guidance. In the time of Jesus Christ, many religious leaders were highly educated in the law, yet they failed to recognize the Messiah because their hearts were hardened and focused on tradition rather than truth.
