Anyone who is depressed needs caring, love and understanding from people around. The bible teaches us to always be there for those people who are going through pain. Parents, friends, and church members should listen to teenagers with kindness and encourage them with God’s word. Many young people struggle silently, so showing support and reminding them that God cares for them can help bring hope into their lives.
Prayer and fellowship are also important in helping depressed teens. The Bible encourages believers to bring their worries to God because He gives peace and comfort. Teens should be encouraged to pray, read the Bible, and spend time with people who strengthen their faith. Loving guidance and encouragement can help them avoid isolation and negative thoughts.
The Bible also teaches that we should help carry one another’s burdens. Christians should not judge depressed teens or make them feel weak for struggling emotionally. Instead, they should show compassion, encouragement, and practical support.
Galatians 6:2, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
