We are created in the image of God. We are created to bring Him pleasure. The pleasure of God is when we do what he wants us to do. We are to obey His commandments. Those who belongs to God should obey the commandments of God. The commandments of God are not grievous. Those who are carriers of the nature of God are the chosen of God. There is a relationship between them and God. I am one of those. They are the favorites to God. As good children, obedience to the will of our Father is our pleasure. Let us know this that God created us so that we can be his children. The Bible says that God has chosen us out of all the world to be his beloved family.
The image of God which we carry makes us to have fellowship with God. God created us so that we will be in fellowship with him. We are not going to have fellowship with whatever is not of our likeness. The nature of God that we are possessing qualifies us to always relate with God. Anyone who can't relate with God does not have the nature of God in him or her. Fellowship is one of the main thing that connect us with God. The very reason why God created man in His image is so that man can enjoy fellowship with God. We should understand that it is only when we exhibit the true nature of God that our fellowship with God will be fruitful.
God did not create sinners. Sinners are those who possess the nature of the devil. Those who are God's live in righteousness. They are those who obey the commandments of God. They are not living according to worldly standard. They honour God in their lives. Let us understand that we are created in the image of God. And as such let us run away from everything that defiles and corrupts.
