You must not make it unjust in your mind if things that are evil happen to good people and things that are good happen to people who are evil
Before now, I do think about why good and righteous people suffer and the wicked excel. Here in this video, bro eli shed more light on it.
Let's read the book of Ecclesiastes 9:2
All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath. KJV
What is this scripture telling us?
God is never patial. All things come alike to all. He doesn't segregate. Sometimes, we wonder why good things happen to bad people and vice versa. It's the general rule of nature. Good things can happen to good people and bad things can still happen to good people. Also, good things can happen to evil people and bad things can happen to them as well.
When evil befall us, we may say oh! I don't deserve this. Why is this happening to me. I followed the rules. I didn't deviate from the teachings of the bible, so why will God allow this to happen to me.
God is never unjust
His judgement is beyond our reasoning. He gas a special place for us outside this earth. Bad things may happen go good people just like what happened to John the baptist.
John was a true deciple of Jesus Chris who never relented in sharing the gosple of Jesus Christ after he ascended to heaven. He was beheaded by king Herod. He died a shameful death. His head was presented as a birthday gift. How humiliating!
Reasonably, John is no supposed to die early owing to his impact in the sgaring of gospel gaining souls for Christ. His death looks very unjust. But one thing is paramout. God's justice is not attained only in this life. Another life is ahead of us which is after we've resurrected.
Are you aware of that already? Sure you are. It's no more a news that there's life after death. John 5:28-29 stated.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation
This is when the justice will be served. Whether you aee paaaing through thick and thin as a true Christian, just know that you have a place.
Evil people may overcome and be happy. They my win and rejoice, while the good people cry and suffer, but the end justifies the means. Let's look at the story of Job and reffer to the scripture
Job 20:4
*** 4. Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment**"
The bible cleatly stated that the joy of the wicked is short. They may triumph ans be happy over their wickedness. But it's just a temporary happiness. It fades in no time.
Those that are being shown cruelty, what's their take according uo the scripture
Luke 6:20:23
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 “Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied.
“Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.
22 “Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! 23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.
There is eternal life for the righteous who are dispised. No matter how long the earth exist after death, enternity is eternal. There will be a time that the good people will reap their good deeds for life.
If you kive un a lufe where evil is glorifiied and you delight in the glory, it's all for a short period. It will soon be buried into forgetfulness.
The victory of the triumphant of the evil is short compared to the eternal life preserved for the dedpised righteous people.
This life us too short. Eternity is forever. Why not cling to the eternal life after death. That's what we need. It pays more. As for ne and mt house, we will serve tte lord. What about you?
