Zoom meeting with Bro Daniel. 30/10/23

I'm glad once again to be a part of the teachings given by Brother Daniel. It's a privilege to be present, which I so much appreciate. We learned a lot from the word of God delivered and I hope you are blessed from it as you read through

^{And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good work}Hebrew 10:24

We shouldn't do evil to others. Let's consider one another for us to be moved to good work. We have obligations to one another. We should be able to remind ourselves of all the doctrines, which are the commandments of God, and we must not forsake the gathering of brethren. Colossians 3:16

^{Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord}

Our unity in faith is important. gathering and serving one another is part of the doctrines. We should look at what we can do to serve one another. If we believe in Jesus Christ, we must be be able to serve one another by love. In the faith of the gospel, we should be able to help ourselves. We should not be divided. Everyone who is a member of the body of Christ must be in one accord. 1 Corinthians 12:25-26

^{25. That there should be no schism in the body that the member should have the same care one for another. 26. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it, or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it}

The church is one body, which is the body of christ, in which we should all have one faith, so by the gospel, we would be bind. The doctrines keep us together, and make us one. One way to manifest brotherly love is by not forsaking the gathering of brethren, and we should always live peacefully with people as much as we can

Conscience

Everyday, we make different decisions about things in our lives, and when we reflect on these things we did, it's either we feel good about it or otherwise, or probably don't give a damn about it. It's our conscience that makes us have these feelings. From the video we watched, we learned that conscience is developed from childhood, and there's a part of our brain responsible for that. We have two types of conscience, which are the good conscience and the bad conscience. Conscience is in the innermost part of the heart. The spiritual mind of man wears the deepest conscience, and the good conscience is in a good heart

1 Timothy 1:19
^{Holding faith and a good conscience, which some having put away concerning faith have made ship wreck}

The Bible urged us to have a good conscience and our faith should not be unfeigned. If we have a good heart, good conscience would emanate from there

AWho is a good friend?

No one would want to call him/herself a bad friend. If asked, the answer would be "I'm a good friend", but what are the qualities a good friend must possess? A good friend will never forsake. When a good friend has the opportunity to do good, he would always be ready to do it. Proverbs 27:10

^{Thine own friend, and they father's friend forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity; for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off}

A good friend must not forsake his friends and his father's friends. He must at all times be ready to render help to them. A good friend must show mercy. A merciful person shall also obtain mercy according to Matthew 5:7. On the day of judgment, a person that is fond of showing mercy to others will receive mercy from God

^{For he shall have judgment without mercy that}

shewed no mercy and mercy rejoiceth against judgment

May God give us the power to be merciful, to show kindness to others, to not forsake our brethren and friends, and to always do what God wants

James 2:15-16
^{If a brother or sister be naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, depart in peace, and be ye warned and filled, notwithstanding he give them not those things which are needful to the body,what doth it profit}

We should not just tell those in need that it is well with them. We should help them by giving them what they need. When we clothe the naked, feed the hungry ones, give water to those that are thirsty, when they are in need, we have done what God instructed us to do. Today, we saw in the video how MCGI put a smile on the faces of many people by sharing raincoats, and also donated a TV. That's what God wants us to do to our brothers. Hope we are all blessed
