We cannot succeed or make headway in this life without total dependence on God. At every point in life or the other will would definitely need God to come through for us. Total dependence on mean may be a bad idea because they can disappoint at any time. But when God is involved, we can never encounter any form of disappointment.
Life without God is hard. But life with God, even though things are hard God supplies the grace more than enough to overcome. Nobody is saying tough times would not arise. As a matter of fact they will surely do. But when our hope is on God, we come out victorious over every circumstance.
Victory is assured to those who place their trust in God. When other people are saying there is a casting down, the statement of those in Christ would be that there is a lifting up. When Jesus Christ left He gave us a Comforter in the person of the Holy Spirit to comfort us during tough situations in life. So we have no cause to fear.
