The Word of God is the most powerful weapons we can ever wield as christians. The Bible describes it as various things; it describes it as light, it also describes it as a two edged sword, it also as a shield and buckler. Here is how Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:17 describes it;
"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God."
Apostle Paul lays emphasis in the power and precision of the word of God. When we begin to see the Bible as not just a mere book but as a weapon which we must wield we would be able to overcome many of the challenges we face in our lives and overcome the devices of the devil and his agents.
The bible is something that we need to take serious. The word of God contained in it is capable of bringing demons to their knees. It gives us an edge over the enemies and a hedge over their attacks.
It very important for us children of God as much as possible to create ample to meditation and brooding on the word of God. It should be our earnest desire to grow deeper in God's word by every day that passes. By doing so we experience a transformed life.
