We must recognize that unity within the Body of Christ is essential. A burning passion for God is powerful but without Christian unity, it cannot accomplish lasting transformation, especially in a nation battling moral decay.
No single person or denomination can achieve God's full agenda alone. Unity is what sustains the fire and transforms it into action. God has assigned each of us specific roles within the Body of Christ. God has a vast plan for His world and He divides this work into portions, giving each individual and organization a piece of the task.
If everyone remains faithful in their assigned area, the church, the Body of Christ, will function beautifully. Every need will be met. Every part will be covered. That understanding should never produce pride or exclusivity. Rather, it should humble us and make us realize, we need each other.
So, when God gives you a revelation or insight that others do not yet have, don't parade it around as if you're the only one who hears from God. That's dangerous. Others have received divine insights you are unaware of. That's the beauty of the Body, we complement each other.
