We cannot succeed or make headway in this life without depending on God. At every level in life or the other will would definitely need God to come through for us. Total dependence on man is not the best idea because they can disappoint us at any time. But when God is in the picture, we can never encounter any form of disappointment.
Life without God is difficult. But life with God, even though things are hard God supplies the strength and grace to overcome the challenges. Nobody is saying tough times would not come up. As a matter of fact they will certainly do. But when our hope is centred on God and what He says in His Word, we come out victorious over every circumstance.
Victory is guaranteed to those who place their trust in God and no one else. When other people are saying there is a casting down, the confession of those in Christ would be that there is a lifting up. When Jesus Christ departed from this earth He gave us a Comforter in the person of the Holy Spirit to comfort us during tough times. So we have no reason to be afraid.
