Salvation is not gotten because we belong to one religious group but religion can sometimes be helpful for us to gain Salvation from God. The bible said salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ not through the church we go or by any human tradition. During the time of Jesus Christ many believers focused more on rules and they were too religious, but Jesus corrected them to also focus on God. The Scriptures clearly show that no church label, ritual, or religious practice can save a person on its own; only God has the power to save through His Son.
The bible teaches us that true faith makes believers gather together and worship God, through the gathering that's when religion will be valuable. Religion, when centered on Christ, helps guide believers in spiritual growth, obedience, and fellowship with others. In this sense, religion is not the source of salvation but a response to it. Salvation comes first through faith, and sincere religion follows as a way to honor God and live out that faith in daily life.
