Good afternoon beloved, today been the 27th of April,2021, i would love to share my lesson gained from the live mass indoctrination.
Lesson Gained: Today Brother Eli spoke on our "Desire to seek God
"
God has never forsaken those who diligently seek Him. Those who trust in Him will never be abandoned (Psalm 9:10). He is a fortified tower of safety for all who run to Him (Proverbs 18:10).
When ever we seek God in truth and in spirit not because of what we intend to gain but for who he is God will always show case for our aid.
If you desire to seek God, you should be encouraged for three reasons. First, if you are seeking God, that reveals He is drawing you to Himself. The second and third reasons are that God tells us that those who seek Him are pleasing to Him. He further tells that if we do seek Him, He will let us find Him. Let’s explore these three truths further.
First Principle – God Is Drawing You
John 6:44 tells us that anyone who is seeking God is seeking Him because God has put a desire into the heart of the person to want to know Him.
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. John 6:44 (NASB)
The Greek word that is translated as “draw” is helkuo. The word was used in the New Testament to refer to dragging a person (Acts 16:19) or a net (John 21:11). That is, God draws or drags a person to Himself. This is great news. It means that God wants you and is helping you find Him. The next principle will reveal that God will reward the person who seeks Him.
For you to desire to seek God you must have faith in him ,for without faith it impossible to please God.
Anyone who is seeking and searching for God will not be disappointed. A wonderful example is the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26-40. The eunuch was reading Isaiah 53:7-8 and he was seeking to understand who the passage was about. We are told in Acts 8:26 that an angel told Philip to go and meet the eunuch. When Philip found the eunuch (Acts 8:27-29), he explained that the passage was about Jesus Christ, our God (Acts 8:34-35). The eunuch responded by believing in Christ and gaining eternal life. His sins were forgiven and he was headed for heaven.
Anyone who seeks God with all their heart will find Him. That has been promised by God. God has not abandoned him or her. The desire and passion to know God is the best news a person can have because it also means that God is calling into His spiritual family. That is, a person seeks God because the Holy Spirit is drawing them to God (John 6:44).
Then Deuteronomy 4:29 and 2 Chronicles 15:1-3 reveals what a Christian will do who truly seeks a closer relationship with the Lord. Seeking the Lord means we seriously want a relationship with God and therefore we are pursuing a relationship with the true God, learning what He wrote and obeying Him. God is your first priority in every way.
Conclusion:
A person who finds God will discover that Jesus Christ is God and that He died for our sins and returned to life (1 Corinthians 15:1-8).
