I want to contribute on today's topic which says What is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43? (Part 4 of 7)
According to Bro. Eli he talked started with JOHN 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
From the lesson scripture above he talks about time element what Jesus ment because we had more time than Jesus here on Earth to do greater works.
The thief on the cross had just few minutes he did not have time to sing praise and worship like others.
Psalm 92.1
It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord (KJV)
Because he was already hanged on the cross with various pains.
The faith of the thief was sufficient for him to obtain paradise because of the situation and time element.
Also we are to do good works because
"Christ wants us to do good works as long as we live, it is our good works that will qualify us to inherit eternal life." -
