Hebrews 10:26 (NIV)
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,
When we sin, the devil makes us think that God cannot forgive us so we can continue to live in guilt and sin and learn not to pray. We have been enjoined never to doubt God's mercy and faithfulness. We are to trust God for everything even the forgiveness of our sins.
When we fall sick even as a result of anything, we must trust God to heal us and if He allows it to lead to death, we can be assured that in Him we would resurrect.
Jesus is the sacrifice for our sins and we must never doubt our confession.
Hebrews 10:38 (NIV)
And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”
God takes no pleasure in those who put their hands on the plough and looked back. He wants us to hold on to the confession of our faith. Jesus is the center of everything. We must not doubt Jesus so as not to give the devil any room to operate in our lives.
