We are not to be like the Jehovah witness who believe Christ is not necessary.
While Some people so believe that the is old fashion
The church is an important institution of Christ which also reflect the wisdom of God.
Jesus Christ purchased the church with his own blood
Acts chapter 20 vs 28 says Take need therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock, over which the Holy ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Jesus Christ was speaking from the Father when he said i will build my church, he wasn't referring to himself but the Father
John 12 vs 49 says For I have not spoken of myself but the father who sent me ,he gave me a commandment,which i should say and what I should speak.
Everything that God created should be called in by the name of God, be it Angel of God, men of God, spirit of God or church of God .
All churches should be named after God as the church of God, not any other name as we do today
Isiah chapter 43 vs 7 says Even every one that is called be my name for I have created him for my glory ,I have formed him,yea I have made him.
Jesus Christ was also referred to as the Christ of God
Luke chapter 19 vs 20 tells us that peter replied the people and he said unto them that Jesus Christ is the Christ of God.
Accepting the word of God and being baptize are the basic ingredient needed before joining the Church of God which is the doctrine of Christ.
