The generation today, many young people are driven by the pleasures and distractions of the world.
Bro Eli tried to tell us that true transformation comes from challenging and oppressing our youth. It comes from opening the eyes. He made an effort that before a young person can serve God, they must first see and understand Him more. You cannot challenge someone to serve God. They do not believe in.
You must first lead them away from darkness. As Apostle Paul also did in Acts 26:18. The message is clear. Youth should acknowledge and serve their Creator early in life. Just as Ecclesiastes 12:1 instructs, Waiting until old age brings things that the Bible calls evil days.
Don't wait till when it is too late for you to serve God. When the heart no longer finds delight in doing good. We have been reminded that the pleasures of sins are just temporary. But the joy of serving God is eternal.
When we show young people the contrast between fleeting world pleasures and the peace of a godly life, we guide ourselves to make wise choices. So truly, there is beauty and joy beyond what we can sense. And this is found only when we are devoted to God or to our life.
