"Then said they unto him,who art thou?that we may give an answer to them that sent us.what sayest thou of thyself.?"
Jesus was not putting a separation between himself and what God has to offer to man.
In verse 24
"And they which were sent we're of the Pharisees"
What I am presenting to you is the father's message, Jesus is not saying that he is the originator of the message.
WHAT DIFFERENTIATE THE FATHER AND SON?..... Divinity a ND humanity.
Jesus came to carry out the intention of God because he is the intention of God.
Jesus made them to see that there is much more to see than this man you are seeing.
If all you focus on is humanity, you will miss out on his Divinity.
A man must receive both the fact that God's intention became a man and the man he became was God's intention.
1 John 1:1
"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled,of the word of life."
The life was uncovered unto us as Christ,God is life sounds abstract because we have not seen God but when the life became flesh, now he became visible and this visible life is the same thing you must receive.
The life became flesh so that it we would be easy for man to receive, it's not for man to distain humanity.
John 8:23-29
In those verses God was not presenting anything different from Christ to man.
John 3:26
And they came unto John and said unto him,Rabbi,he that was with thee beyond Jordan,to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.":
John was using Many things to say he was not the bridge groom, but Jesus the bridge groom.
John 8:37
"I know that ye are Ibraham's seed;but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no peace in you"
Jesus authoritative communication,he is saying,I am from the father and there is nothing that you will say that can override it.because he is the embodiment of God's intention everything God has to say is Christ.
Verse 53
Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which dead:whom is death? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
To those people the will be like Jesus is proud but he was only telling them what he knows,he is the embodiment of God
Anything you want from God can only be found in Christ Jesus statement will always be absolute because man will always want an alternative
