The most important thing about forgiveness is that we say that many people forgive, but this shows that forgiving people is the right thing to do.
Forgiving does not come easily, although when we are being hurt, but it is very necessary that we still forgive, because God desires us to forgive one another.
Sometimes we understand that we have to forgive and forget the wrong that has been done to us, but God has already told us that it is good to forgive according to the gospel.
In Matthew 16. For should he forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father shall also forgive us. This is telling us that we must be able to forgive one another. Although forgiving and forgetting does not imply that we just erase everything that has been done to us, but we must be conscious of the people we are dealing with.
But even after forgiving them, we must know that. We must be conscious of how we hang around with this kind of people. When I consider this kind of forgiveness of God, then we know that this thing sometimes can never be easy. We commit numerous errors and God forgives our sins.
Why shouldn't we forgive others also? The Bible says in the book of Colossians 13 that when we forgive one another, then we are forgiving those who care about us. The Bible also teaches us to forgive one another. We should be authentic in our forgiveness and everything we do. We should live a life that pleases God.
