THE IMPORTANT POINTS IN THE LESSON
Baptism is of important to every Christian because, is the first thing to do after repentance. It is the connection because of us and the Christ.
Mathew 28:19
That we should go into the world and make disciples of all nation's and baptize them in the name of the father, and of the son and the Holy spirit.
Baptism should be done in the church of God. The house of God is the good place to be baptized. Baptism create a way for the forginess of sins and receiving the gift of the holy spirit.
Act 3:38
Peter said that, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ. This will help our sins to be forgiven and we will receive the gift of the holy spirit.
1Coritians 12:13
We were all baptized in one body for in one spirit, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slave or free born, we are all made to drink one spirit.
Colossians 1:18
Christ is the head of the body which is the church. He was in the beginning with God, he is the first born from the beginning.
God is one, there is one body and one spirit. There is one Lord and one faith, one baptism. In him is life, without him we are nothing.
Mathew 24:4-5
Our Lord Jesus answered some people by saying; be watchful and let no one leads you to destruction because, so many peoples go round using my name saying I am the Christ and they will lead many to destruction.
Many peoples now go round spoiling the name of our Lord. They parade themselves as the servants of the Lord but do otherwise. They deceive peoples and lead them to destruction.
MY FORMER BELIEFS OR EXPECTATIONS THAT WAS IMPROVED AFTER THE STUDY:
I believed that, through baptism our sins can be forgiven and we can also receive the gift of the holy spirit. The first thing to do after repentace is baptism. Let all take baptism seriously because, it helps our sins to be forgiven.
I know that, there have been a lot of peoples now who have been going round and deceiving a lot of peoples with the name of the Lord. Calling themselves the servants of God but doing otherwise.
THE IMPACT OF THE STUDY ON MY LIFE AND OTHERS:
I preach to my friends and family members about baptism and how important it is for every Christians.
I have been careful with the peoples around me because, not all the peoples are what we thing they are. Many peoples are going round using the Lord's name to deceive a lot of peoples.
