We can't imagine how great it is a privilege that our sins are being forgiven. This is something that cannot be equated to any other thing in life. The Bible made us know that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God but God in His all sufficiency and richness in mercy sent down His only begotten son to forgive us of all our trespasses — those of the past, those in the present and, in the future.
We were meant to be one with God but after the sin of man and the fall that followed after man was disconnected with God but God found a way to redeem us back to Him and re-establishing our relationship with Him. We should never take for granted the mercies of God.
We don't really deserve the mercy that God shows us but out of His love for us He just continues to show it to us. We should not take the mercies of God for granted. The reason why God forgave us our sins is for us to turn back to him and not to be going back to our sinful ways over and over again.
