James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Listening to God's Word is very essential. For us to know what God is truly saying we need to listen actively. God wants us to do His Word. But how can we carry out His Word is we do not listen to it in the first place?
The Word of God is not something we should treat casual. It is powerful and had the ability to change and transform lives. People who listen to the Word of God and let it to abide in them never remained the same. That is the gravity and efficacy of God's Word in our lives.
Listening to God's Word hear it's not done with the ears but with the heart. That is where God wants us to keep His Word. This is what makes us live our lives in such a way that it is evident to people around us that the word of God is made manifest in us.
