Being students of the scriptures gives us the privilege to gain awareness of certain things before they happen. The Bible is the only book that tells us about the past, present, and future. It is an advantage to us believers.
It brings us to the light on occurrences which are to take place and not to remain in darkness. This is so that we live our lives with all consciousness. This is also so that things do not take us by surprise.
If we know what lies ahead of us we are mindful of how we approach it. We don't live our lives carelessly. People of the world may act that way but not for us believers who are endowed with the word of God.
