Exactly yesterday in our prayer meeting in church by the spirit of God we were led to pray about this same topic, the old path, because a lot of believers have so deviated and gone off, the true essence of Christianity has long been forgotten and now everyone is unto his or her own selfish reason misleading many, which is one of the anchor point Bro. Eli talked about and enlightened us through the Bible in the book of Isaiah 56:11
A reference to this in 2Timothy 3:2 the Bible says for men shall be lovers of themselves, boastful, proud, disobedience to parents, unholy, all these are signs of the last days, and all of these have successfully creep into the church and our doctrines, and methodology of everything in church, men of God no longer anchor on the true meaning of of Christianity which is Salvation but unto messages of prosperity, self and profits, according to the Bible they're referred to as greedy dogs never getting satisfied.
I listened carefully to brother Eli's teachings and they really enlighten my understanding of the old paths, it's the way predestined by God to man to walk there in and find rest, it's a oath that led to eternal life, it's a path that led to success, prosperity, blessings, abundance in all things pertaining to goodly life as God has promised us right from the beginning, the scriptures says if we walk there in we will find rest but humanity have chosen to go on their own greedy selfish path, which is why we see all the chaos, killings destruction of life's amd properties, selfishness on the in every form
Today's teachings is a close call to believers all Around the world To retrace their step back to the old paths, to the real meaning and true essences of what Christianity is all about.
I was careful to observe these insightful teachings and to draw from it wisdom and knowledge as a guide to aid my walk in this race
KEY NOTEABLE REFERENCE POINT
These are reasons why we ought to retrace our step to the old paths as predestined by God from the beginning of time
First because they're God's ways, God is good, wise, perfect and what he had laid down for man reflects his good intentions for man. Proverbs 23:18
Secondly they're the path of righteousness, ways everlasting, were lies God's rest, abundance treasures stored for those that will follow the leading of God's word I'm their lives, only of we can adhere to the instructions of God Due. 28:1
Thirdly the psalmist said in psalms23 the lord is my shepherd I shall not want, if you allow God's lead you through the path of righteousness were there are greener pastures you won't lack anything good, because he will provide all you wants, let the good shepherd lead you through the path were there lies treasures of the earth
The old paths is God's predestined path for all men to follow and live a fulfilled life as he as purposed for us
