Bro Eli began By defining what the act of prayer really means, because due to the lack of these knkwledge a lot of believers pray amiss, not getting results make them begin to question God.
The act of communicating to God which is asking God to do things that are beyond us or beyond our abilities to do, but then when praying we must ensure to backup our prayers with faith, what is faith?....
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...
In a more clearer sense faith is believing in your heart, trusting in God to perform and manifest what you have asked of him, so that means faith is our ticket or our onky channel to receiving anything from God when we pray asking him for help, that is why Bro Eli made mention of the scripture of Hebrews 11:6
So before you come to him you must first believe that he is able to do that which you asking of him, i feel this gives God his Glory and praises of him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask of him acclrding to his riches in christ Jesus...Eph. 3:20 so God will frown if you come to him without faith,...that is why it is impossible to please him....
Bro Eli did not stop there he further told us that if we come to him believing and hoping on God to perform his word when we pray we should not doubt or waver in our faith, cause any man who has a double heart cannot recieve anything from God, so God demands 100% Faith commitment from us, THIS IS THE PROPER WAY TO PRAY holding unto God in Faith not having a double heart
