The bible tells us that when burying the dead, it should be done with care and respect. The accepted way of laying the dead to rest is through burial. The Bible accepted burial because that's the only way we can pay condolences to the dead. In the bible Abraham had to look for a proper place to bury Sarah when she died. God children respect the dead. Burial is not done in a rushing manner, it is something we do carefully to honour the dead.
The family of the dead, which are the loved ones are usually involved in the burial, they come together and mourn the loss of their loved one. In the bible when Jacob died his sons took his body and buried him where they buried other family members.
“So Jacob’s sons did as he had commanded them. They carried him into the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah” (Genesis 50:12–13).
The burial of Jesus Christ shows a clear example of how we mourn the dead. When Jesus died , they wrapped him with a clean white linen and placed his body in the tomb. It teaches us that dead bodies should be handled with care.
“Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb” (Matthew 27:59–60).
