Happy sunday to all members of the MCGI community, today is a special day and I’ll be sharing with you what I learn in church today. I’ll do my best to make this short and straight to the point.
The topic for today says: The Righteous Shall Flourish
We need to understand that the topic is not ordinary topic, on the world is from the Bible because it’s confirmed the world and promises of God and we all know God does not lie if he says the righteous shall flourish then the righteous with definitely flourish just like in the book of some chapter 92 verse 12-14
“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,”
Psalms 92:12-14 NKJV
What does it mean to be righteous?
Righteousness is atribute that belongs to God. We need to understand that no one can be justified by his own work apart from God’s ordinance. In simple sentence it means that righteousness is a gift from God to humanity true Christ Jesus.
If we are to justify ourselves by the law that was given to us by God through Moses, then man can never be able to classify himself as righteous, but God saw this and knew that it would be very difficult for Man to enter into his kingdom so he sent is only begotten son Jesus Christ to connect us back with him. According to the scriptures, there are ways a person can be counted as being righteous.
The first one we are going to look at is Faith
The scripture says without faith no man can please God, that is you need to have faith in the God you’re serving for him to be able to cleanse you. Before you can grow this faith then you must be ready to listen to the world of God.
The Bible says
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans 10:17 NKJV
So if you’re not ready to listen to God, then you’re not ready to grow your faith and the truth is, we need our faith in him for us to be righteous before him.
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.””
Romans 1:17 NKJV
So before we can call ourselves just or rightous, we must have faith in God and believe in his authority to wash all of our sins away.
Thanks for reading. Do have a blessed week ahead.
